Olympic bronze-medal winner, Indian hockey goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, has expressed his happiness at being awarded the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award and expressed his want to popularise the game by taking it to the college and school stage. India gained the Tokyo Olympics bronze defeating Germany to finish a four-decade-long medal drought on the quadrennial video games. The Khel Ratna is the very best sports activities honour conferred by the Indian authorities and is given for excellent performances.
