The Jaipur unit of the World Health Organisation (WHO) donated 100 oxygen concentrators to the Rajasthan authorities on Monday.
The concentrators had been handed over to state Health Minister Raghu Sharma who thanked the WHO for its cooperation in combating towards the COVID-19 pandemic.
Raghu Sharma mentioned that each doable effort is being made by the state authorities to beat the shortage of oxygen within the state.
The oxygen concentrators being offered by company social accountability (CSR) are supporting the federal government’s efforts to sort out the pandemic, he added.
WHO consultant Rakesh Srivastava mentioned these contractors, price about Rs 15 crore, had been manufactured in Germany.
He mentioned that the concentrators have the capability to supply eight litres of oxygen per minute which will be elevated to 10 litres per minute as per the requirement.
