The UP authorities has transferred Hathras District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Laxkar

The Uttar Pradesh authorities on Thursday transferred 16 IAS officers, together with Hathras District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Laxkar, beneath whose jurisdiction the case of the 19-year-old Dalit lady who was raped and murdered, was being dealt with.
Mr Laxkar would be the new district Justice of the Peace of Mirzapur.
UP Jal Nigam Additional MD Ramesh Ranjan will take his place in Hathras, an official spokesperson stated.
Mr Laxkar had come into focus after the Dalit lady was raped by 4 upper-caste males in Hathras on September 14. She died on September 29 at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital throughout remedy.
The lady was cremated in the midst of the evening close to her dwelling on September 30. Her household alleged they have been pressured by the native police to hurriedly conduct her final rites.
The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court had expressed concern in November over the Uttar Pradesh authorities not taking any motion towards the District Magistrate for the equity of the investigation.
Besides Mr Laxkar, Gonda District Magistrate Nitin Bansal has been despatched to Pratapgarh and Additional CEO of Noida, Shruti, has been made the DM of Balrampur, changing Krishna Karunesh, who has been posted because the vice-chairman of the Ghaziabad Development Authority, the spokesman stated.
Prominent amongst others who’ve been transferred are Fatehpur DM Sanjiv Singh, who has been shifted to Chandauli in the identical capability, the spokesperson added.
