US President Donald Trump vowed Saturday to appoint a successor, probably a lady, to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg “very soon.”
“We will have a nominee very soon,” he informed reporters in Washington, including: “Most likely it would be a woman.”
Ginsburg, a progressive icon and a vocal Trump opponent, died Friday on the age of 87. Her loss of life offers the president the chance to tilt the nine-justice Supreme Court bench solidly towards the correct for many years to come back with a 6-Three conservative majority.
