Tripura Shocked As Alleged BJP Workers Attack Daily’s Office, Injure Journalists

“The goons were armed with lathis and sharp cutting deadly weapons and one of our journalists, namely Prasenjit Saha, was hit on the back of his head by a sharp cutting weapon injuring him seriously.”

Mr Chowdhury later advised the media that such a harmful, violent assault on a media workplace had by no means occurred in Tripura.

Many media organisations and senior Journalists and editors, together with Agartala Press Club Secretary Pranab Sarkar, visited the Pratibadi Kalam workplace and vehemently condemned the assault. They demanded the fast arrest of these concerned within the assault.  

“If the police do not arrest the attackers within 12 hours, we would launch massive agitations to get justice. The government must compensate the damage done,” Mr Sarkar mentioned after assembly the police officers.
