Bihar Election 2020: Congress president Sonia Gandhi appealed to voters to vote for change in Bihar

Ahead of the Bihar Assembly election, Congress president Sonia Gandhi right now made a fervent attraction to voters to herald change within the state and construct a ‘new Bihar’, alleging that the JDU-BJP authorities there has deviated from its path and was excessive on energy and ego.

In a four-minute video forward of the primary part of voting tomorrow, she mentioned the current dispensation led by Nitish Kumar is neither saying good nor doing good and labourers are helpless, farmers are upset and youth dissatisfied with it.

“Drunk on power and arrogance, the government in Bihar has deviated from its path. Their words and deeds are suspect. The labourers are helpless, the farmers are upset and the youth are disappointed. People are bearing the brunt of the fragile state of the economy.”

“A serious crisis has befallen the farmers of India. The lives of Dalits and Mahadalits have been destroyed and similar is the fate of the backward sections of society,” she charged.

“The people of Bihar are with the Congress Mahagathbandhan and this is the call of Bihar,” she added.

Sonia Gandhi alleged that the governments in Delhi and Bihar have introduced demonetisation, lockdown, financial shutdown and shut employment and referred to as upon individuals of state to construct a “new Bihar” for the following technology and crop.

“Time has come for ushering in change in the state,” she mentioned, noting that governments can’t be fashioned on concern and crime.

Voting for the primary part of Bihar meeting elections is on Wednesday with 71 constituencies going to vote in six districts, together with among the Maoist-hit areas.

The second and third part of polling might be held on November three and November 7 and the relying on November 10.
