In the wake of a raging forest hearth in Odisha’s Simlipal National Park for over per week, Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday mentioned a committee of specialists is being despatched to assist the state authorities handle such incidents within the area. Announcing the choice on Twitter, Mr Javadekar additionally mentioned that he mentioned the forest hearth with Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan and different parliamentarians from Odisha.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is sending a committee of experts to Odisha to give technical advise and help out the state forest department in effective management of forest fire incidents in the region,” Mr Javadekar tweeted.
He mentioned the specialists will coordinate with groups deployed on the bottom and assist in dousing the blaze. “The experts will work in coordination with the deployed team” and assessment the state of affairs with the ministry every day.
