Serum Institute of India (SII) is doing its greatest to ramp up the manufacturing of COVID-19 vaccine Covishield to cater to demand within the nation, Adar Poonawalla mentioned on Saturday. Responding to a tweet by JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal, Poonawalla mentioned the vaccine main is doing its greatest to introduce vaccines on precedence for the Indian market.

“Yes@sajjanjindal, we at @SerumInstIndia are doing our greatest to ramp up manufacturing & launch new vaccines on precedence for India. Earlier Sajjan Jindal had tweeted whereas tagging SII, Poonawalla , Bharat Biotech and its Managing Director Krishna Ella: “The solely manner we are able to win the #FightAgainstCOVID19in India is to vaccinate all people. Great to see @SerumInstIndia @adarpoonawalla and @BharatBiotech @krishnaella ramping up their capacities.
