Russia is able to conduct medical trials in Ukraine of a COVID-19 vaccine combining its Sputnik V with a vaccine developed by AstraZeneca along with Oxford University, the pinnacle of Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) stated on Saturday.
Russia’s sovereign RDIF, which is advertising and marketing the Sputnik V vaccine overseas, introduced in December trials to check a mix of the AstraZeneca vaccine with the Sputnik V shot to see if this could increase the efficacy of the British drugmaker’s vaccine.
