Russia Claims It “Destroyed’ A Ukrainian Military Factory Outside Kyiv

Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24 on President Putin’s authorisation.

Russia’s defence ministry mentioned Sunday it struck a army plant exterior Kyiv, as Moscow intensifies its assaults on the Ukrainian capital.

“During the night time, high-precision, air-launched missiles destroyed an ammunitions manufacturing facility close to the settlement of Brovary, Kyiv area,” the ministry mentioned in a press release on Telegram.

The mayor of Brovary Igor Sapozhko mentioned that “some infrastructure objects had been hit” within the early hours of Sunday morning.

An AFP journalist in Brovary didn’t witness any indicators of destruction, smoke or hearth.

In current days, Russia has carried out a number of assaults on army crops in and out of doors Kyiv.

Last month, Russia mentioned it was withdrawing troops from northern Ukraine — together with from across the capital — to concentrate on gaining management of the japanese Donbas area.
