Rahul Gandhi’s Solution To Punjabi Version Of Gordian Knot, Says Congress Leader Sunil Jakhar

The Congress is engaged on fixing a disaster within the social gathering over the Punjab Chief Minister

New Delhi:

Former Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar has recommended his colleague Rahul Gandhi for making a decisive transfer to revive order within the state unit, amid stress from Congress MLAs to switch Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.

Mr Singh, forward of a gathering of MLAs known as this night, has informed Congress chief Sonia Gandhi he “can’t continue in the party with this kind of humiliation”, sources stated. Today’s assembly is prone to sign a management change within the Punjab Congress authorities, weeks after the social gathering managed to dealer peace between Mr Singh and his rival Navjot Singh Sidhu.

“Kudos to Rahul Gandhi for adopting Alexandrian solution to this Punjabi version of Gordian knot. Surprisingly, this bold leadership decision to resolve Punjab Congress imbroglio has not only enthralled congress workers but has sent shudders down the spines of Akalis,” Mr Jakhar tweeted, referring to the proverbial phrase used to explain a posh drawback that may be solved solely with daring motion.

The opposition Shiromani Akali Dal has been attacking Mr Singh as “the most hated man in Punjab”. Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal had stated even Congress MLAs have been towards the Chief Minister. “…If you conduct a poll on the most hated man in Punjab, the result will be Captain Amarinder Singh. Not only us, but people and Congress MLAs are also against him,” Mr Badal had stated.

A piece of Congress MLAs after revolting towards Mr Singh has been maintaining stress on the social gathering.

Today’s unscheduled assembly reportedly surprised the Chief Minister.

The names of three leaders are in circulation, say sources, as potential replacements in case of a change – Sunil Jakhar, former Punjab Congress chief Pratap Singh Bajwa and Beant Singh’s grandson and MP Ravneet Singh Bittu.
