Maharashtra politician Sharad Pawar’s daughter and MP Supriya Sule discovered herself mobbed by a bunch of protesters from the state transport unit outdoors his dwelling on Friday with reviews saying that a few of them misbehaved along with her.

Around 100 employees of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) held a protest outdoors Mr Pawar’s dwelling in South Mumbai, shouting slogans towards the veteran politician, accusing him of ignoring their demand of creating the MSRTC a full authorities unit.

Thousands of MSRTC employees have been on strike since November final yr demanding that they be handled on par with the state authorities staff and that the cash-strapped transport company be merged with the federal government.

The protest comes a day after the Bombay High Court requested the putting employees of the transport company to renew obligation by April 22.

Some staff even threw slippers and footwear at his home.

“Some 120 MSRTC employees have died by suicide during the strike. These are not suicides, but murders of the state policy. We are firm on our demand of merger of the MSRTC with the state government. NCP chief Sharad Pawar has not done anything to resolve the issue,” an agitating worker of the MSRTC advised information company PTI.

“We respect the decision of the Bombay High Court given yesterday, but we were discussing the issues with the state government, which has been elected by the people. This elected government did nothing for us. Chanakya of this government – Sharad Pawar – is also responsible for our losses,” stated one other protesting worker of the MSRTC.

Mr Pawar is taken into account the chief architect of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress, was fashioned in November 2019.
