A Baltimore police detective is dealing with felony prices after prosecutors say he slammed to the bottom a person who refused to put on a face masks inside a grocery retailer.

Prosecutors mentioned Detective Andre Pringle was stationed at a grocery retailer in West Baltimore in spring when 25-year-old Brandon Walker entered the shop with a masks on prime of his head however not protecting his face, The Baltimore Sun reviews.

A masks mandate was in impact due to the coronavirus.

Prosecutors say Walker yelled and cursed Pringle as he escorted him outdoors of the shop. Once outdoors, Pringle slammed Walker to the bottom face first, prosecutors mentioned.

Pringle has been charged with a misdemeanor assault cost. Pringle’s legal professional, Chaz Ball, declined to remark to the newspaper.

Walker was charged with a number of crimes, together with resisting arrest and assault. Those prices had been dropped in November. He pleaded responsible to violating orders beneath a state of emergency and was placed on probation.
