'None Of Your Business': China To Foreign Critics On Hong Kong Law

Beijing, China:

China on Wednesday slammed worldwide criticism over a controversial new nationwide safety legislation for Hong Kong, saying different international locations ought to maintain their noses out.

Western governments and critics have warned the brand new legislation will curb town’s freedoms and undermine its “One Country, Two Systems” governance scheme, which technically permits freedoms unseen on the mainland.

But Beijing officers rebuffed the criticism of the legislation at a press convention.

“What’s this got to do with you?” mentioned Zhang Xiaoming of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs workplace of the State Council. “It’s none of your business”.

Officials insisted there had been broad session with members of Hong Kong society and hit again at criticism it was undermining Hong Kong’s autonomy.

And he lashed out at solutions of punishment from different nations.

“As for… some countries now saying that they will impose severe sanctions on some Chinese officials, I think this is the logic of bandits.”
