NCP Leader Eknath Khadse Tests Positive for Coronavirus, to be Admitted to Hospital

NCP chief and former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse has examined constructive for COVID-19, sources near him stated on Thursday. Khadse will probably be admitted to a city-based hospital.

“Natha bhau (as Khadse is known) tested positive on Thursday afternoon. He will be treated at a city hospital as per the doctor’s advice,” the sources stated. On November 15, Khadse’s daughter Rohini had stated that she had contracted the coronavirus an infection.

Earlier, a number of different key politicians in Maharashtra, together with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, over a dozen different ministers and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Devendra Fadnavis had examined constructive. Khadse had ended his almost four-decade affiliation with the BJP and joined the Sharad Pawar-led NCP final month.
