The Kolkata Metro Railway on Monday mentioned it can resume providers on Sundays from October 4. The first service will start from each ends at Noapara and Kavi Subhash stations at 10.10 am and the final one will begin at 7.30 pm, an official mentioned.

The Sunday providers will, nonetheless, be obtainable solely within the north-south line, excluding the East West Metro, spokesperson Indrani Banerjee mentioned. The East West Metro has been affected by poor passenger patronisation, with solely a little bit over a 100 individuals using it on weekdays.






The determination to renew Sunday providers was taken at a high-level assembly of Metro Railway officers, Banerjee mentioned.
