Chennai Super Kings (CSK) took to social media to share a brief video of MS Dhoni and his teammates celebrating coach Stephen Fleming’s birthday. The former New Zealand captain turned 48 on April 1. The CSK gamers are presently of their bio-secure bubble, making ready for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. IPL 2021 is about to start on April 9. In the video, Stephen Fleming might be seen chopping the birthday cake, with the likes of Dhoni and Suresh Raina clapping applauding.
CSK had a poor marketing campaign final season, ending seventh in an eight-team desk. Led by Dhoni, they received six matches and misplaced eight fixtures.
Ahead of IPL 2021, the franchise confronted one other setback, with Australian quick bowler Josh Hazlewood pulling out to spend time along with his household. Although final season, Hazlewood could not cement a beginning spot, and will solely function in three matches.
Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) within the IPL 2021 season opener on April 9. CSK will play their first match on April 10, after they face Delhi Capitals (DC).
Ahead of IPL 2021, CSK launched Shane Watson (retired), Murali Vijay, Kedar Jadhav, Harbhajan Singh, Piyush Chawla and Monu Singh.
They purchased Moeen Ali, Okay Gowtham, Cheteshwar Pujara, Harishankar Reddy, C Hari Nishaanth and Bhagath Verma within the IPL 2021 public sale.
