Explosion at Russian gunpowder workshop kills 17 — report

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation stated a felony investigation had been launched into the blast.

Regional Governor Nikolay Lubimov declared October 25 a day of mourning within the Ryazan area, which lies to the southeast of Moscow, for these killed within the blast and insisted extra wanted to be carried out to make sure the protection of these working in “hazardous industries.”

“This is an egregious case, and everything possible must be done so that nothing like this will happen again.
