“Drastic” Drop Predicted In Maharashtra’s Rainfall Activity From Friday

As per the IMD workplace right here, Pune’s Shivajinagar space obtained 112.1 mm rainfall whereas the Lohegaon and Pashan observatories recorded 125.7 mm and 120.2 mm showers, respectively, in final the 24 hours (ranging from 8.30 am on Wednesday).

Since Thursday morning, the rainfall exercise in Pune and adjoining areas diminished besides intermittent showers in some components of town, it stated.

“There is no warning from Saturday onwards for the current spell. As far as warning for October 16 is concerned, only yellow warning (authorities advised to “be up to date”) has been issued.

“From tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, a drastic discount within the rainfall exercise within the state shall be noticed,” stated Anupam Kashyapi, head, climate division, IMD.

As per the IMD, in Pune and adjoining areas, reasonable rainfall coupled with thundery exercise is more likely to happen on Friday.

From Saturday onwards, mild to reasonable rainfall is more likely to happen within the district, it stated.
