Democracy Now! Turns 25: Celebrating a Quarter-Century of Independent News on the Frontlines

Democracy Now! first aired on 9 neighborhood radio stations on February 19, 1996, on the eve of the New Hampshire presidential major. In the 25 years since that preliminary broadcast, this system has drastically expanded, airing right now on greater than 1,500 tv and radio stations across the globe and reaching tens of millions of individuals on-line.
