Court Orders Probe Against Kangana Ranaut, Rangoli Chandel for Allegedly Trying to Create Communal Tension

A courtroom in Mumbai has requested the police to analyze the grievance lodged towards Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel for allegedly attempting to create communal stress by means of their tweets. Bandra metropolitan Justice of the Peace Jaydeo Y Ghule handed the order on Friday.

Casting director Sahil Ashrafali Sayyed had lodged the grievance within the courtroom, looking for its course for registration of an FIR beneath IPC sections 153A (selling enmity), 295A (malicious acts supposed to outrage the spiritual emotions), 124A (sedition) towards the actor and her sister, his lawyer Ravish Zamindar mentioned.

In the grievance, he mentioned that Ranaut has tweeted “very objectionable” feedback, which has not solely damage his spiritual sentiments, but in addition the sentiments of many artists. Sayyed alleged that Ranaut has been attempting to divide the artists on the communal traces.

“Her sister, too, has made objectionable comments on social media to spread communal tension between two religious groups,” the grievance mentioned.
