Rio de Janeiro:

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was rushed to hospital early Monday morning for therapy of a possible intestinal obstruction, native media reported.

Bolsonaro, 66, who has been in energy since 2019, was taken to Vila Nova Star hospital in Sao Paulo.

TV Globo confirmed photos of him disembarking from the presidential airplane on foot along with his entourage.

Doctor Antonio Luiz Macedo, who has operated on Bolsonaro on different events, informed information website UOL that the president would bear a number of exams to look at his stomach.

Neither the presidential press service nor the hospital has but responded to requests for info by AFP.

In July, Bolsonaro spent 4 days receiving therapy for an intestinal obstruction.

Since a knife assault that focused him throughout a 2018 election marketing campaign, wherein he was stabbed within the abdomen, he has undergone stomach surgical procedure no less than 4 instances.

About a month earlier than he was elected president, Bolsonaro was stabbed at a marketing campaign rally by a person who was discovered to be psychologically unfit for trial.
