The Congress on Monday stated the Centre ought to take extra substantive and efficient measures because it welcomed the ban on 59 Chinese purposes.

India on Monday banned 59 apps with Chinese hyperlinks, together with massively fashionable TikTok and UC Browser, saying they have been prejudicial to sovereignty, integrity and safety of the nation.

The ban, which comes within the backdrop of the stand-off alongside the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh, can also be relevant for WeChat and Bigo Live.

Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari stated, “Banning Chinese Apps is a good idea. What about receiving money in PM CARES from Chinese Telco’s and other Chinese companies? Good idea or bad.”

“In China everything eventually is owned or at least controlled by CCP+ PLA + Intel Organisations. Together, they are called DEEP STATE SIRE,” he stated in a tweet.
