Baltimore County capturing: three lifeless, suspect killed after capturing and fireplace

Police and fireplace crews responded to calls of “an active fire, as well as an active shooter” round 6:40 a.m. in Woodlawn, Baltimore County Police spokesperson Joy Stewart stated.

“Our officers responded to the scene. When they arrived, they found a man outside armed,” Stewart instructed reporters throughout a information briefing.

The suspect was killed by police, Stewart stated

“At this time, we can confirm that an adult male suspect is deceased, two adult male victims and one adult female victim are deceased and one adult male victim is suffering from non-life threatening injuries,” an announcement from the Baltimore County Police Department stated.

Tim Rostkowski, spokesperson for Baltimore County Fire, stated preliminary experiences point out the two-alarm fireplace began in a “townhome and spread to the two adjacent townhomes.”

The construction the place the hearth began, “as well as the residence directly to the right … have collapsed,” Rostkowski stated. “The third dwelling that was involved has heavy damage.”

Fire officers haven’t but decided the trigger or origin of the hearth, in response to Rostkowski.

The explanation for the hearth and relations of these concerned are being investigated, Stewart stated.

Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski stated on Twitter that it’ll “take time to fully investigate” the “horrific incident.”

“Today, we pray for the injured victims and the families who have lost loved ones,” Olszewski stated. “We will make all possible resources available to the residents affected by this tragic situation.”
