AUS vs IND, 4th Test: Tim Paine Trolled On Twitter For Poor DRS Challenge Against Mayank Agarwal On Day 3

Australia captain Tim Paine’s resolution to problem an on-field name for a possible caught behind towards Mayank Agarwal did not go down properly with some followers on Twitter after replays confirmed that the ball had missed the bat by a good distance. In the 49th over, Pat Cummins had bowled one down the leg facet and Agarwal missed a flick shot because the ball hit his thigh pad. Australian fielders went up for a catch behind the stumps however umpire Paul Wilson gave the choice in favour of the batsman. Paine challenged the decision and the replays confirmed that the ball was nowhere close to Agarwal’s bat.


It was not the primary time within the ongoing Test collection that the Australian skipper has made an error in judgement whereas going upstairs to problem a call made by the on-field umpires. 

Twitter was flooded with memes and hilarious takes from followers as Australia misplaced their evaluate within the morning session of Day Three of the fourth Test on the Gabba.

In the third Test on the Sydney Cricket Ground, Paine was fined 15 per cent of his match payment for displaying dissent at an umpire’s resolution.

Paine had misplaced his cool following an unsuccessful DRS resolution towards Cheteshwar Pujara.
