Arizona mom charged with homicide after two kids discovered useless in Tempe

“This should have never happened,” he stated. “What the children experienced is just horrific, really.”

The metropolis’s disaster response crew and the police division’s peer assist group have been working with the officers who have been on the scene.

“There’s a lot of officers that were involved in either a call last night or this morning, which was two different groups of officers, that are very emotionally overwhelmed by this, and we’re trying to get them the support they need to get through that as well,” Carbajal stated.

“For those that witnessed the scene, for those that saw the children, it’s something that’s going to stay with them for the rest of their lives,” he stated.
