5 Delhi Boys Score 100% In All-India Engineering Entrance Exam JEE-Main

Five college students from the nationwide capital have scored 100 per cent within the JEE-Main examination, which was performed earlier this month after being postponed twice in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The prime scorers from Delhi embrace Chirag Falor, Gurkirat Singh, Laksh Gupta, Nishant Aggarwal and Tushar Sethi. They are among the many 24 candidates who’ve scored 100 percentile within the essential examination.

The examination for admission to engineering faculties was performed from September 1 to six, amid stringent precautions and social distancing measures as a result of COVID-19.

Staggered entry and exit for candidates, sanitisers on the gate, distribution of masks and sustaining distance as candidates queued up, have been among the many scenes witnessed on the examination centres throughout the nation.

A complete of 8.58 lakh candidates had registered for the JEE-Mains examination for admission to engineering programs in IITs, NITs and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) whereas solely 74 per cent of them had appeared for the examination.

Increasing the variety of examination centres, alternate seating plans, fewer candidates per room and staggered entry and exit have been among the many steps taken by the National Testing Agency for safely conducting the essential examination.

Based on the outcomes of the JEE-Mains Paper 1 and Paper 2, the highest 2.45 lakh candidates can be eligible to look for the JEE-Advanced examination, which is a one-stop examination to get admission into the 23 premier Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). JEE-Advanced is scheduled to happen on September 27.
