2015 Topper Tina Dabi Says Sister Has Qualified UPSC Exam, Ranked 15th



UPSC 2015 topper Tina Dabi’s youthful sister, Ria Dabi, has cleared the distinguished civil providers examination with an all India rank of 15 within the remaining listing of candidates declared on Friday. In an Instagram publish, Tina Dabi stated she is delighted at her youthful sister’s success. “I am delighted to share that my younger sister Ria Dabi has got rank 15 in the UPSC 2020 exam,” she wrote.

Both the sisters studied at Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College. Tina Dabi was the primary candidate from the Dalit neighborhood to prime the examination.

The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) conducts the civil providers examination in three levels. The first is a preliminary check, which is adopted by the principle examination. Finally, the candidates who’ve cleared the primary two hurdles are referred to as for an interview or persona check. Successful candidates serve within the varied wings of forms, together with the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Foreign Service and the Indian Police Service.

Tina Dabi is now the Joint Secretary Finance (Tax) within the Rajasthan authorities.

A complete of 761 candidates – 545 males and 216 ladies – cleared the examination this 12 months. Bihar’s Shubham Kumar secured the primary rank and Jagrati Awasthi was positioned second. Both are engineering graduates. The third rank can be held by a lady candidate – Ankita Jain. The prime 25 candidates comprise 13 males and 12 ladies.

Shubham Kumar did his B.Tech in civil engineering from IIT Bombay, whereas Jagrati Awasthi accomplished her B.Tech (electrical engineering) from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal.

The preliminary check was performed on October Four final 12 months and 4,82,770 appeared in it. A complete of 10,564 candidates certified for the principle examination in January. Of them, 2,053 candidates sat for the interview.
